Tribal leader of Oceania, TheHammer, today asked all Oceanic geopolitical leaders to hand over their best cyclists and join Hamsters, a one region team taking on the world.
Friendly nations of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and smaller island nations are now responding with some of their finest cyclists being scouted for the cause.
TheHammer was recently quoted in TIME magazine by saying:
"This is a call to arms - the Pacific Ocean is the largest body of water on our planet, and now its time for our dominance to make a splash on the four corners of the globe. My people, fellow Oceanics, get on your bikes and RIDE!"
As a reaction to the call, the Australian parliament is passing a bill to enforce compulsory conscription for all males of 20 years of age to enlist in the Australian Cycling Corp. New Zealand is close behind.
Should the rest of the world be worried? Only time will tell.
